Dr. Samir Mitragotri is a Scientific Advisory Board Member of Follica and Entrega. He is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Dr. Mitragotri has published over 80 peer reviewed journal articles, he is an editor of several journals in the field of drug delivery, and a co-inventor in over 30 issued and pending patents.
He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Technology Review Young Innovator award, and distinctions from the Controlled Release Society, the American Pharmaceutical Association, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
