Dr Feigal is a Senior Advisor to Gelesis and Tal Medical. He is Partner at NDA Partners, LLP, where he advises mid-stage device and biopharmaceutical companies on clinical and regulatory strategies, product development and design, and the introduction of innovative technologies. He has held senior positions in all three FDA medical product Centers including serving as the Center Director of CDRH, the Deputy Center Director, CBER and Director of the Office of Drug Evaluation IV (Anti-infective-Antiviral Drug Products), CDER.
Prior to his roles at the FDA, Dr. Feigal was an Associate Professor at the University of California, San Diego, in the Department of Medicine. He has also served as the Senior Vice President for Global Regulatory and Global Safety at Élan Pharmaceutical and the Vice President for Global Regulatory at Amgen.
Dr. Feigal received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and his M.D. from Stanford University.
