Dr. Elmaleh, a Senior Advisor and Co-Founder of PureTech, is the Director of Contrast Media Chemistry at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School . He has co-authored or authored over 120 publications and has 40 registered patents in a range of disciplines, including imaging, pharmaceuticals, and nuclear treatment.
Dr. Elmaleh is the recipient of numerous NIH and DOE awards, and also serves as a consultant and scientific board advisor to several publicly traded biotechnology companies. He has founded several biotechnology companies, including Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals, US BioSystems, Oncologic (merged with Procyon BioPharma), and Fluoropharma. He holds a BS in physics and chemistry, and an MS and PhD in chemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
