PureTech’s mission is to give life to breakthrough technologies in order to develop the most promising innovations into cures. As an “institutional entrepreneur”, PureTech proactively creates new companies through a rigorous, systematic approach.

We survey an entire technological landscape for innovations that address important unmet medical needs while leveraging a deep, cross-disciplinary network of experts and strategic partners.  We concentrate on a handful of major initiative areas at a time, generate and review hundreds of technologies, and form two to three companies a year.
